• Tim I run a bone stock 454 out of a 1990 truck thats it nothing more and nothing less. No up grade in cam anyone can put a vacum gauge to it anytime runs on unleaded gas and can drive from here to harlingen and back with no problem on the expressway. All I'm saying is if the truck is gona run in class 6 (street) it should have current stickers and drive in. Class 6 is a fun class and it should stay fun and fair. Everyone (all classes) are gona complain if the drivers of that particular class feel that another truck doesnt belong. • Class 6 is for stock trucks. There used to be 3 classes that i can remember stock, small block, and big block. Every know and then two wheelers from baycity would come down to corpus or laredo. Dont know bout cheating or favoritism, but there used to be more tracks down here in back then. Now there is one true track and not some fucked up mudpit. Be glad you have a place to race at. Every where you go there will be politics. My family and i raced for many years with a 69 chevy called the weekend warrior. We won alot in the small block class from rgv to corpus ,laredo& baycity. We didnt get rich(lol) and i dont even remeber were we left the trophys. Bottom line is that it doesnt matter bout the payoff or trophy, its bout the love of the sport.
