Subject: Wth does this have to do with anything? But now that you bring this to the foro . . . I live in Hawaii and the people here hate the coqui frogs! They are a non-native, invasive species that appeared about 20 years ago and have spread all over the Big Island and now some of the other islands. People tried to erradicate them, but given our tropical environment that was always going to be a lost cause. Now the coquis are here for good! Personally, they've never bothered me. In the evenings I'm surrounded by a cacophony of coquis. I'm so used to them that I don't even notice them half the time, even though they are loud!!. And they remind me of areas of Venezuela during my childhood where we had coquis as well (a different variety). But the people who have lived here all their lives lament the loss of quiet nights. Some claim they can't sleep, and have even gone so far to claim that it's depreciated their property values! LOL
