Aunque originalmente se había anunciado que participarían unas 83 candidatas, muchas de ellas declinaron viajar al certamen
entre ellas: Chile, Croacia, Italia, Panamá, Paraguay, Suecia y Uruguay quienes no explicaron los motivos.
En Total sólo están compitiendo Sesenta y seis chicas.
