Ella es Desiree Estrada, una modelo y actriz, representante de León Rumbo al Miss Universo Nicaragua 2025 🇳🇮 descendiente directa del General José Dolores Estrada, héroe nacional y símbolo de resistencia, cuyo rostro vive en el billete de mayor denominación del país. Además, es sobrina nieta del periodista Abelardo Sánchez, defensor de la libertad de expresión, cuyo legado se preserva hoy en un museo en Nicaragua.

Desireé en el año 2015, decidió apostar por sus sueños y emigró a Miami donde empezó de cero y la perseverancia rindió frutos: hoy acumula más de 20 producciones entre teatro, comerciales, películas y series para plataformas como Netflix y Amazon Prime.

Desiree Estrada inició como extra y doble en series como SWAT, CSI Las Vegas y Pam & Tommy. En 2020 brilló con su primer papel coestelar como Victoria Solis en la serie policial Bosch, de Amazon Prime, y en 2024 actuó en la serie Griselda (Netflix) junto a Sofía Vergara y Karol G. Ha asistido a eventos importantes como los Critics’ Choice Awards y recientemente hizo historia como la primera actriz nicaragüense invitada al prestigioso festival de cine de Beverly Hills. Tiene 3 carreras profesionales y actualmente estudia en Harvard University Extension School.

En 2024 fue reconocida por Forbes como una de las 100 Mujeres Más Poderosas de Centroamérica.
