“Mujer” my ass

There is nothing trans about him. Go to the instagram page, no boobies, no facial femminization procedures, and is not post op, there are bathingsuit pictures to prove it. It's an insult to the women that are competing. Just because one feels like a women doesnt mean they are. NOT EVEN CLOSE" on Sat, Apr 04 2026, 9:50:58 PDT

  • Rula, I don’t know her, and I don’t know her story. If she’s a drag performer—which is not the same as being trans—that’s a different thing altogether. But I want to be very clear about where I stand: there are people who live in bodies they don’t identify with, and a trans woman is just as much a woman as a cis woman. For me, that’s not debatable. I’m not saying this to argue or provoke anyone—this is simply what I believe. (NT) -- Pepelu, Sat, Apr 04 2026, 10:09:04 PDT (163.116.250.203)
  • Pepelu, there is a clear difference between someone who is transgender and someone who is simply presenting as a women . Gender identity is not a costume ( wearing womans clothes and makeup, wigs ) It;s something deeper and ongoing. I respect that trans women have lived experiences that goes far beyond appearances. But thats exactly why I dont think we can equate that with someone just dressing up or acting the part. Those things are fundamentally different . To be fair, I do not know if Gabriela may be going through a transition, but to compete in this stage of her life, in a woman's beauty pageant such as MUPR....with biological women or transwomen (post op ) ? ummmm that goes beyond logic. Shame on the MUPR org for allowing such a situation and not having clear policies on the matter. It causes confusion and undermines the essence of the pageant and the women that compete in it.
