  • Yo soy fanatico de las carreras de caballos desde nino. Cuando vi a Golden Tempo correr el Louisiana Derbey (1-1/8 mile distance) hace como 1-1/2 meses atras y llegar tercero con un empuje final sabia que en el Kentucky Derby (1-1/4 mile distance) seria uno de los top finishers y gane la apuesta entre amigos que seguimos este deporte porque lo puse como ganador. Felicidades a los hermanos Ortiz por su primer y segundo en la carrera y a la primera entrenadora en ganar el Kentucky Derby. Fue una carrera emocionante. Lamentablemente el caballo Great White comenzo a brincar detras del arrancadero y cayo de espaldas y por eso fue retirado para ser examinado por posibles golpes internos y no se rompio una pata. Digo esto por si acaso a este caballo es el que se refiere un comentario mas arriba. Ayer hubo 7 jockeys puertorriquenos que corrieron el Kentucky Derby. Definitely:"Puerto Rico does it better".   • DE acuerdo a los record Secretariet es el mejor. Suprimer Jocky fue el boricua Junior Cordelro. Sabian que el Secretariet podia ganar otra ves...pues decidieron cambiar al jocky. No querian darle meritos a un latino. Apesar de que Junior Cordero es AMERICANO. MI papa estubo muy enojado pero como es una carrera de caballos y no de Jockies mi papa aposto a Secretairet. Y gano 10,000 en aquel tiempo eso fue una buena apuesta. Yo tengo la pelicula de Secretariet y mis hijos la vieron cuando eran pequenos. ME IMAGINO QUE TODOS LOS QUE CONSPIRARON ENCONTRA DE JUNIOR CORDERO LES HA HIDO MAL EN LA VIDA. SE QUE SON APUESTAS PERO EL QUE MAL HACE MAL LE VA.
