Your right, the glitz has went too far and I like the glitz pageants. I love a pretty pageant dress, but I think they are beautiful without all the stones. The stones dont make your child any prettier and the dresses would certainly look more delicate on a child. Same with the hair and makeup. The whole problem is some of the contestants cant win without being totally covered up with the heavy makeup, therefore those moms will fight for it. I dont think they should get rid of all the makeup, but just enhance the childs natural beauty. Something the mom can do without going overboard with it. Really its not beauty now.
