Subject: WOW! This is FANTASTIC news Cindy and I'm very excited for you!! I love the idea of a TOC and think a family tree or list of characters as Betsy mentioned is also a good idea. How about a historical timeline for the actual events that take place in the book and also the characters' events as well. I think it would be great to have a visual like this of actual events and to know what happened in the character's lives at the same point in time. That's kind of my learning style so that's why I would like it. Can you also offer a sneak peek at the next chapter of each book as an "extra" when it is downloaded? How about some pictures of the acutal places in Ireland as an extra? I really have no idea if that is feasible but thought people might enjoy the photos and make even more of a connection. Can you add page numbers? I had no idea a downloadable book wouldn't have them.>>>>>>>>
In reply to: celtgirl 's message, "Pat and I are in the process of getting my books 'Kindle-ready' to upload into Amazon's system. He mentioned putting a table of contents in the front of each book for easy chapter bookmarking etc. Those of you who have Kindles, what sort of extras do you like to see? Is there anything special, but do-able you'd like to see done with my books in a Kindle edition? Just looking for some ideas, before we actually upload it and it's too late. Thanks." on 14:54:05 07/13/10 Tue

As another extra, how about some discussion questions or a short discussion guide that includes a synopsis and the questions? Oh, what about a chart (I once tried to make one) of the "organization" of the IRA and the associated groups with their names? As I was learning and trying to understand the history, I was also trying to keep names straight hence me trying to make the chart.

Oh my gosh, have I made more work for you? Oh and one more I can think of - a link to your website? And what about the font style and size - is that already take care of on a Kindle etc? I don't have one, so am not sure if that is a stupid question. Ok, that's what I can think of right now but will keep thinking. CONGRATS!!
