Subject: Dang girl, you are "on"! *g* I couldn't think of a damn thing beside CBF...hahaha! I like all that you said - the timelines, links to Cindy's website and I think some discussion questions would be neat bonuses to have.
In reply to: Tracy 's message, "WOW! This is FANTASTIC news Cindy and I'm very excited for you!! I love the idea of a TOC and think a family tree or list of characters as Betsy mentioned is also a good idea. How about a historical timeline for the actual events that take place in the book and also the characters' events as well. I think it would be great to have a visual like this of actual events and to know what happened in the character's lives at the same point in time. That's kind of my learning style so that's why I would like it. Can you also offer a sneak peek at the next chapter of each book as an "extra" when it is downloaded? How about some pictures of the acutal places in Ireland as an extra? I really have no idea if that is feasible but thought people might enjoy the photos and make even more of a connection. Can you add page numbers? I had no idea a downloadable book wouldn't have them.>>>>>>>>" on 18:14:04 07/13/10 Tue

  • Thanks for the suggestions- it was really Noelle's idea though- she sent me a story about this guy who self-published and his books weren't doing that well, but once he uploaded it to Kindle it started to spread. I don't really expect that for my books, but any increased readership is a good thing so I figure it's worth doing. (NT) -- celtgirl, 21:38:54 07/13/10 Tue
  • It's a great idea! I haven't converted to this technology but many others have so go for it! I like Tracy's idea about knowing the facts from the fiction. When reading historically based fiction it's always nice to know the true facts versus storylines created from the author's imagination. (NT) -- Denise, 22:00:14 07/13/10 Tue
