Subject: Oh gosh I checked in here last night but don't have a Kindle so didn't think I had anything to offer. I still don't really *g* except I'll echo a picture of CBF ;-)
In reply to: celtgirl 's message, "Pat and I are in the process of getting my books 'Kindle-ready' to upload into Amazon's system. He mentioned putting a table of contents in the front of each book for easy chapter bookmarking etc. Those of you who have Kindles, what sort of extras do you like to see? Is there anything special, but do-able you'd like to see done with my books in a Kindle edition? Just looking for some ideas, before we actually upload it and it's too late. Thanks." on 14:54:05 07/13/10 Tue

  • Definitely a table of contents. Pages aren't the same on the Kindle - they change with the type of Kindle you're using and the size of the font. I don't know if that means you have to do something special for the formatting or what. When I go to the table of contents on a Kindle, I can highlight a section, press a key and am taken directly to that 'page.' (NT) -- E, 22:26:04 07/30/10 Fri
  • Pat has spent hours and hours on all the formatting stuff, so hopefully it all works- he seems to know what he's doing at least. :) We did do the Table of Contents and now 'Mermaid' is just waiting to be 'approved' by the powers that be at Amazon and then it will be up on their system.
