Subject: This is it kids!

If you haven't voted yet, I don't care who you vote for just be sure you VOTE!

I'm so excited! I'm going right after work (Amy and I worked out a schedule so she could vote this morning and I get to leave a tad early to vote this evening). I hope I can stay awake past 9pm to see the results and hear the speeches.

to avoid the long lines after work. Silly me! Mile long line out the door and down the sidewalk, two guys directing traffic in the parking lot....I turned around and came to work. Nice to see such a good turnout, even though I have to rearrange my schedule!

I left the house about 45 minutes early because I was expecting a crowd. But I got in and out in under 10 minutes. When I filed my ballot, however, there were two long lines out the door! It's so nice to see a good turnout for a change.

How incredible is it that, no matter which way you vote, you will be electing either an African American as president or a woman as the second-most powerful person in the nation? Amazing!

she said she walked right in around 2pm. One of her church lady friends was working the door. There was no line. Her friend (Fern) said it had been hectic this morning.

I'm jazzed about this, y'all.

I hope we see an awesome party at Grant Park tonight.

I hope Stevie Wonder hisself will sing Signed Sealed Delivered ;-)

And there was barely a line. I actually let people go ahead of me so Mom could get the twins there to see me vote.

There is a 3 hour wait at the University of Central Florida's polling place. They just showed the line on the local news and it is around the parking lot. People are determined to vote and I am so proud of us all for doing our civic duty.

I can't wait to see how it turns out!

They had to come out and vote today. The younger one was ill and made her son take her to the polls.
