This is the reason that I cancelled my purchase of a re-sale. We got conned on our honeymoon. When we returned home it was past the 10 day cooling off so it appears that we've lost our deposit (700 euro). I sent everything back along with a letter saying that we were cancelling due to gross misrepresentation. They called twice (I wasn't home) and a few months later sent a letter stating that they were sorry and that they only had the best intentions. If they were truly sorry than they'd refund my credit card. The sales lady said she'd never "gotten a black eye" since shes been working at CPO. I intend to one day return to the Algarve (it truly is beautiful) and if she's working I'll give her two black eyes.
