CPO have a heavy and harrasing presence throughout the area, and must confess my wife and I got conned. It started with a so called winning lottery card, promise of a free holiday, no doubt the usual scam. We introduced to supposedly Bernie the Bolt of Golden Shot fame who name dropped Bob Monkhouse and CHarlie Williams. Back in the UK I checked him out, and Bernie the Bolt he never was. Just a ploy to make people of a certain age feel they can trust him.
Was promised cheap good class hotels thru RCI, & cheap flights, but on later checking that out it was a load of lies. The value was supposed to include the surrender price of another company membership certificate, but in the paper that arrived in the UK that was never mentioned. The resale price would be half of what I was told, assuming anyone would be daft enough to buy it.
Beware, it's just a con. We'll write off the deposit, and put it down to experience. The next timeshare/holiday club creep who comes near me could suffer violence!!
