~ ((((((((((((Tamz girl)))))))))))

what a gorgeous story this is, so beautiful I was moved to tears...

it reminds me of a time earlier this year when my kids and I were visiting my sister inlaw in hospital after her op - there was this elderly lady across the room from my sis-inlaw, and she was ill, and throwing up into a little tub. She had pressed the buzzer thing and no nurse came, so I excused myself from Ness's bedside and went to help the elderly lady. I got her another couple of tubs, a face cloth, towel, and sat with her and gently rubbed her back to let her know she wasn't alone, while she was vomiting into yet another tub...the poor thing, my heart went out to her, and after about 20 minutes a nurse came, and took over. The elderly lady was really touched that I did that, but it was a really beautiful moment for me to be able to help her...thank you so much for sharing your story here, as it gifted me two-fold...I love that!

I hope your Christmas Day is everything you wish it to be, hon

our day was yesterday, and I spent it at home, while the kids went out with my ex, for his family's Christmas breakfast, so that was cool for them..and for me as I was able to have some quiet time to relax, and prepare the Christmas trifle (which rocked btw...he he)

So, I don't have a story as such, but we did write Christmas cards for Jock & Marie (our neighbours at the top of the driveway), and to Bill (our neighbour who lives across the driveway)...so that felt good, to give them a little something.

a beautiful post, Tamz...loved it!!!

*love 'n' hugs*

Tammy,

I read this the other day and just breezed
through it again today.

So sad, yet, so giving are your words and
the wisdom contained in the reflective
voice of your blog.

Life is always richer when we reflect upon
those things that we were so freely given
back when we had no idea of their true worth.

That's the essence of giving; that the value
of the gift grows with the passing of time.

My heart and prayers are with you and yours.

Miss ya, my dear friend!

hugs,
andy
