She had them all right. Firm and ready, sitting up there
like two prized balloons. I got to her face eventually and
noticed she was quite attractive. High chiseled cheek
bones. Nice soft curves on her nose. Her eyes were
shaped like almonds set far apart. She had the kind of
lips that a man just wants to kiss after only a short
glance. All draped by long, thick, wavy, shining,
chestnut hair.

She had it going on as they say
.
When I was through checking her out (which took time
because I was making sure she wouldn't notice) I real-
ized that something about her was affecting me in a
negative way. I hadn't heard her voice yet and that is
one thing that can turn me off about a woman.

I didn't know what she smelled like; she was
too far away for me to pick up her scent.
There I sat half listening to my friend talking
about his rendezvous with his high school girlfriend.
I lived through that one myself and my story
was better because it contained much more
dysfunction. All good plots reveal dark sides.

Then all at once it hit me. It was her
AURA that was pushing me away.

Yes, that unseen energy that haloes
around all of us though some of us
might still deny it exists.

We all give off energy good and bad and it's
such a huge part of who we are and how we
perceive others. Yet, we seldom talk about
it or even try to understand it.

It's just one of those things that comes with
being human. I looked back at her again
and smiled to myself. I was sure she was
more about herself than she was about the
world.

It hit me like a freight train; despite my show
off modes and my penchant for wanting to
impress, I was never that way. I care more
about how someone else feels than I do about
how I feel.

I'm OK with that! That is until I sense someone
is trying to play me or take advantage of these
sensitivities. Then I respond accordingly.

I'm not satisfied with my lot in life but, I am fine
with WHO I am inside.

....and that should be enough for any man
especially a man like me.

~ oh yeah...that it is, Andz, that it is..

I soooo understand this piece, and I know how much we can learn by hearing someone's voice, and listening to what we feel from their energy...

Isn't it ironic that when we know about the bottom line that we can see beyond that? And once we see beyond that, we can understand ourselves and other people with more clarity? Yeah, Andy...it's just like this....

*nodding in total agreement (if not verbal clarity)*

That's what it's all about Andy...

Funny how we tend to "know" more if we
perceive the aura! Good job!

Hugs and love,
Tammy
