Reunion


There she is
trailing shadow
breaking the chain
of beauty
so un-refined

she does not shine
as they do
her gossamer
weeps
for finer days
her hair
flows wild, like
her spirit

how dare she
dream that he
may see her
through
autumn eyes

remembering her
as more
than the breeze
that licked naked
his willing flesh

and in their reunion,
hold her
in love's embrace
as if no other
existed

but she does

just don't know it yet
