I have read that Michael Landon did not believe that Jesus was the son of God. (His father was Jewish and his mother Catholic). These people posting these messages say things like he got cancer because he did not believe in Jesus and furthermore some of them seem to think that he would not be saved because he was not a "believer". My response is this: In the first place it is not our job to judge. Only the Creator knows a person's heart. Secondly apparently these individuals do not know the verse in Acts 10: 34 that says "Truly I perceive that God showns no partiality, but in every nation ANYONE who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him."(emphasis mine)
Thirdly how can people believe that a merciful and kind God would exclude those who for whatever reason do not believe as they do? Does anyone really believe that all the Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims etc.(kind, honorable people) who do not believe Jesus is the son of God will not be saved? If we are really honest with ourselves we must admit that many Christians are Christians because that is how they were brought up. If they had been born in another country where people were some other religion they would most likely follow that religion. Back to my original point. IT IS NOT OUR PLACE TO JUDGE!

By the way re. your question: Go to Google.com and then type in the search bar: Michael Landon's children or Family and click search. I think you will find the article I was referring to where some people seem to think that they know what God will do!! Blessings to you too.
