Indeed, Michael Landon (Eugene Orowitz) was a cool, deep, and charasmatic person... Like all of us, he had his frailties too. He was known to sip the ale, and use other intoxicants as well. But none of us are 'perfect.' Michael's shortcomings, as well as his ability to reach people, are what made him so 'real.' As one writer put it earlier, TV really did go down hill fast after his passing. Most (80%) of the newer so called dramas are garbage with cash-flow the main goal.
