Thank you Mick, Good Knight, Max & Sasha. The above was my own experience. Unfortunately I really didn't have any change in my pocket that day, but the old lady asked serenely in Hindi "Mann to hai na beta?", which means "You have a heart, my boy, don't you?" And I felt like giving my all at Her feet. This happened way back in 2002, yet the moment stayed with me.
