Clinging

I was clinging on to every word
Every sacred word
Watching for a hint
Any kind of information
Just a glint
Reading between the lines
Sentences
Comprehension
Give me a clue to the intension
Is there something we both forgot to mention?

So we go our own way
Separate life
Separate journey
Just our shadows choose to stay
Futures rolls into history
Tomorrow will soon be today
Close my eyes god forgive me I pray
I cling on to every word
Every sacred word

Connected
Situations
Not in depth a mention
But respected
Every last syllable dissected
Risk taker
Chance
In our hearts the truth knows the answer
In different directions we walk
It just our mouth and tongues the same words they talk
