Le vent de la tendresse

Le vent de la tendresse
Souffle ses doigts d'absence
En de froides connivences
Avec l'abandon et le silence

Et il n'a de cesse
Que de tarir les pleurs
Que de raccornir le coeur
Que de voler l'or de bonheur

C'est un souffle implacable
Qui ne connaît nulle distance
Pour le montreur de prestance
Et du malheur fait sa pitance

Le vent de la tendresse
Est corne d'allégresse
Jusqu'au jour de tristesse
Où l'amour devient détresse.

The wind of tenderness
Blows its fingers of absence
It gets good connivance
With abandonment and silence

And it never stops, so
To dry up the tears,so,
To turn stale the heart,so,
To steal the gold of happiness,

It's an implacable breath
No distance it knows
For who this presence he shows
From sadness meals it grows

The wind of tenderness
Is cornucopia of joyfulness
Until the day of sadness
When love becomes distress.

~ oh this is a great opening stanza, dear Mireille

I love when you post in French and English...
French looks so poetic, only I cannot read or understand it
so I'm glad the English is there :)
you have such a beautiful heart, sweet one

*hugs*

There's my good friend!

Hi Mir,

It is so true that love can bring the
greatest gifts and also the most sorrow.

I love the double language posts (but you
knew that already).

So nice to have you here again.

thanks,
andy

Such a lovely flow of thought and verse, Mireille, and yes, to post in both languages . . . such a treat!
cheers,

(((~Mir~)))

I love it when you post in French and English - it brushes up my rusted and crusted education (and challenges me to remember).

But oh, this is beautiful and in truth, poignantly so. It is an honor to read you again and again!

~Hugs~
