My wishes are just fancy dreams of what can’t be Cause reality steps in and I have to do what’s right ’san idyllic place to be in, drinking wine and relaxin’ Listening to the birds and music whilst I dines The cooler evening breezes still warm, rare it freezes Though it gets bloody close some bloody times. Hunger is getting to me, and I’m thinking of a curry It’s about the fifth one that I’ve had this week To me it makes no matter ‘cause I love it on my platter And I’d much rather have it, than nought to eat. So northerners go freeze, I’ll enjoy the Aussie breeze Eating curry and listening to good music whilst I dine If you think I think of you, I have better things to do While I sit here in the park, quietly drinking wine.
