Deja Vu'

Remembered futures of
a past we never shared.
Quantified realities
in a universe of quantum theories.

Multi-dimensional layers of knowing you
has my heart tied up in string theories.

Onion skin universes contain
multiplicities of me and you,
revolving around each other
on an eternal mobius strip.

We have no beginning,
we have no end,

just moments in time
when our paths intersect,
and our hearts remember the past
of a future we never shared.

Any poem that mentions my beloved Quantum Theory ranks highly in my heart.
Well done!
And a shout out to all my physicist homies: Can I get a holla?

:D

You are smouldering!

WOW! JUST 'WOW'! One of the best poems I have read here.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Can you give a synonym of 'mobius'? I haven't been able to get the exact word.

Cheers.

Thanks so much, Arunansu, for the delightful reply and praise!

There is actually no synonym...Mobius was the inventor of the strip...here is the best and easiest description I could find...
A moebius strip is a loop of paper with a half twist in it.

How to make a moebius strip.

1. Take a strip of paper.

2. Give it a half twist (turn one end over).

3. Tape the ends together.

Hope that helps! :D

Wonderful phrasing. I enjoyed how that leads
to the onion metaphor with more layers to peel
away. Also love the feeling of being connected
and disconnected simultaneously here.

I enjoy your pen. It's fruit upon the table.

thanks,
andy

Hello Shannon

Could feel the the intensity flowing round the multiverses here, sometimes an echo, sometimes a 100 piece orchestra, always a joy.

Loved this.

Max
