"ask me what is the most important word in comedy?"

"what is the most important word in comedy?"

"timing!"

from sky dome touch
the dark glass muse
worms' regal reign

the kill that brings life
fresh bouquets
trophys of the day

the way you are
is the way you come
far from that little

sepia pages stir
they want fingers
to snake through

so here you are
again in the vines
of the valley cradling

you walk alongside little
bartering the dream
for quick wings

but you didn't know
no you didn't see
heaven chastised you

as leaves rustle
with jealousy on the side
and slow motion forgiveness

as rain flickers
in black and white
for shelter glass ting

as road side
creates side shows
and bruises a main event come lunch

the place doesn't suit your life
how wrong then
it is your life that doesn't suit the place

so no more touch of sky
no less domes of glass dark
and lab rats to tether

you are here with soup
make peace with fish
and glass of wine

....that's never empty

"forgive my lips for they find pleasures in the strangest places!"

"forgive my lips for they find pleasures in the strangest places!"

~ that right there, hints at more to come perhaps?

there is so much about this one that I understand and can relate to
especially over this past year...but I couldn't have penned it as wonderfully as this!!!

I just love whatcha do, my dear dear friend

Bagger,

Sensing some sort of misplacement here that
is woven in your words and metaphors. In the
end you bring the poem to a wonderful place.

The point of acceptance!

You rock,
andy

Hello Bagger

My pallete is sated with the subtle aromas of your imagery, contemplating the deep texture of the vine in this voyage of discovery.

Pure vintage, a good year, and I loved every drop.

There's a new term in poetry it's to write a bagger

Superb style and journey that will only end when bagger hangs up the pen not in my life time please.
