How sad...and what a unique perspective! So sad but true...we had a house in our neighborhood with a lovely old cherry tree...beautiful in the Spring...first thing they did when they moved in...yep...cut it down...I almost cried...
I loved this...loved it, loved it!

Thank you Stormheart. Next door to me a long time ago there use to be a small patch of woods that i had always walked through as a kid... and walking past it on the road, i remember the chokecherry trees the most... would stop and pick some on the way past, it always, always was something i looked forward to... then one day new neighbors bought the land, they cut down most of the trees and put a house in it. the choke cherry trees have been gone ever since... i miss them, and i miss the small patch of woods that use to be my place to commune with nature. I'm glad you loved this.
