] Date Posted: 17:29:43 01/12/08 Sat This was written in response to a friend's poem titled 'Broken'...He is an amazing poet...and a dear friend. Broken No More Fallen knight, despair not. I will pick you up and bear your heavy armor. I will lead your weary horse, until you find the strength to ride again. Gladiator, beaten, but not broken... rest in my arms. I will carry your shield and forge your broadsword anew with the fires of friendship. Wayfarer lost, fear not. I will be your guide in darkness, and my heart shall be your light. Blinded, tremble not. I shall be your vision... aim for your goals... I will guide your arrows to their targets. Crusader without a quest, worry not. I will journey with you in search of your holy grail, a constant companion and witness to the purity of your heart. Grand wizard, sorrow not. I will summon the true earth magic of friendship to share with you. I shall dance with the moon, if that is what it takes to make you smile. Silent troubador, weep not. Even in silence, your soul sings to me. Heart songs fill my mind when your words spill forth from trembling quill. Great Lover, lament not. Your heart has not failed, nor your mind.
