Silk Offerings

I trestle your temptations
across blue waters
into soft coves
where your lillly pads
paint my palette pink

I was dreaming last night of noodles on a cherry string
some jazz band in a smoking room, the air full of B flats
your legs stretched out like silk offerings, tempting me
from below the red-clothed tabletop

I can't stear my dreams
they won't wait for me

I fell to my knees
to suck the sweetness
from the flesh of fire
in your vortex
your button swelled
and shook my world
