|he listens as each steed speaks his piece. a trace of a smirk crosses his features as yet another brujo appeared. they certainly were swarming around firelight. he waits until there was a bit of silence before speaking to her again. "i am shadows black. i was born evil. i had a sister, but she's dead. i met a mare who was light, and i fell in love with her. we became mates. she was attacked by wolves and i saved her from being killed by a rather vicious lupine" as if it knew it was being talked about, a nasty scar across his back from that particular battle throbs in pain, but he ignores it. he was used to the scars. "we lived for a few days in hopeful valley i believe...then we moved to my mates home, starlight valley...she died in childbirth. she had twins. i'm not sure what happened to them when they were younger, but i met up with them recently. after seren-" he stops. he still can't say her name. it brings back pain and anger. they had gotten in a bit of a fight, because after her death, she came back alive but shadow had a new mate. "after she died, i was sad, of course. a rather mysterious mare entered the valley. she was injured and i helped her out.." he pauses, wondering how to continue the explanation. "her name was illusions of insanity. insanity for short. we became mates. her life was sort of screwed up- she was in slaver by her uncle, and other stuff like that. she dissapeared (i think). after a while, her sister illusions of reality came into the terra. i think she...i don't mean to...be harsh to my past mates but...i think i was really in love with reality. i liked serenade a lot and insanity a lot but...i really loved reality. we had a colt. shadow of a doubt." his voice grows a little quiet. "i don't know where he is now. so many of my family members have...disappeared. anyway...i haven't had a mate since then. i didn't really like starlight valley after that. it was inactive, and it reminded me of my past life. so i moved. i just wandered around. i didn't really have a side. i have gone back to the dark side, my original alliance...and that is my story." he takes a deep breath. "i suppose i want a family again. i know i am ready to have children again. i guess i would like to actually find a home first." he chuckles "it wuld be nice to see any of my family again. thats why i want a mate.." he pauses, still thinking. "i want to be in love again. i want to have a family.....about the evil-light thing. i don't like the lights, though i was mates with a light. i was born dark, and to the darkness is my alligiance." he looks up at the mare for any comment she may have. that was his life, and he couldn't change it, even if he wanted to. {{ooc- by the way, his story is all true. i've had him for a while, almost a year! -elise}}
