Subject: Black Monk Time book!!

I ordered the book late last week, Eddie signed it on Monday, it arrived Wednesday, and I finished it last night. I'm TIRED. What is interesting to me is that we music consumers in the US (IMO) think of Germany in terms of The Beatles in Hamburg, then we skip right to Kraftwerk. But what about the rest of the 60s?! This book, while a dual story of the monks and also Eddie's life in Germany with his lady, was a great read for that very fact - we know all about the various music scenes here, and for someone who has already read tons of band bios, this is refreshing.

Also, thank god for YouTube so we can see monks in action via the German TV appearances - holy freaking mackerel.

Thank you monks for shaking things up - we finally get it here!!!!
