Hi folks,
I'm not much of a writer. I seldom send messages to authors, writers, scribblers or even hacks. Usually I only do it when I've been absolutely blown away by the writing. I remember writing to Driver just as he was shutting down Everyday Love. I have a folder in my "stories" folder labeled "Driver Nine." Does that tell you anything?

I'll confess, I had almost gotten out of the habit of checking here. Every few months I'd check back and things would look the same. I'd check the forum, and no new entries.
Imagine my surprise a few months ago when things began to happen here again. And my joy to find that Driver was here. In my usual way, I started checking back more often. I'd read and enjoy the exchanges and track down stories mentioned because I trust the judgment of the people recommending them. I've always loved Dabeagle's Stories. I felt he had a good ear for picking other writer's stories.
It seems that few of the sites I once frequented are still viable. Nifty goes on, and if one is careful there are a few good stories there. It's like panning for gold, a lot of rock and gravel and a few shinny nuggets.
So. What's my point?
A couple of months ago Dabeagle said that the site is going to be revived. I've been coming back regularly because I really want to see that happen. The forum is somewhat active again which had given me hope. I'll be here Sunday to see the new stuff. You may not hear from me, but I want you to know that I'll be reading with great happiness.
So, Driver. This is what I'll say...
GO DABEAGLE!!!!!
