OK, "just wondering". First you need to realize that my boy has never had a rep of being all that boyish in the first place. He's also rather slight in build too. The other thing is I'm carefull about how he looks when just out with other kids, many are girls anyway. At these times we dispose of all the glitz and glamour stuff, but without going what you might call as butch or anything like that. His hair can be alowed to be a little messy, and just wearing sort of unisex athletic looking stuff which is rather universal around here, there's not really any big problems that I know of. When we want to do mother and daughter, we go across the river to a somewhat smaller town and go to malls and such in the other side of that town. This seems to work out quite well as far as i can tell because everybody treats us like the way we look. I just wish I could get Shawn not to blush when people, mainly women, tell us how pretty or sweet we look. There's a lot to this, and I think i find it every bit as an adventure as my child does. Shawn seems to be happier than I ever remember him to be.

Linda
