Nothing important, but since you have mentioned teaching comparatives, I'd go further in a previous discussion on adjectives that I always like to highlight even before the comparatives (and, of course, can work as an introduction or warm-up as well). If I utter/ write "This book is interesting" wouldn't I, discoursevely, make a comparison too? The point is: for me to consider a book as being interesting, I have to know this "not-interesting state" to classify it as being so. For me, this is where discourse lies and isn't so clearly standing out in our classes...
