Not sure if you know this, or care, because it seems like you like to hear your self talk/complain more than you like to find out the truth, but WLOX and the Sun Herald have laid off a large number of employees over the past two years because of the economy and the fact that the media industry is just not profitable right now. Neither will be "rebuilding" their sports department anytime soon, and remember that hockey is just one thing in a vast local sports scene. It may be what you focus on, but it CAN'T be the only thing they focus on. And no, I don't work for either WLOX or the Sun Herald.
