It sure would be nice if the rest of us were in on some of this info - if I could hear something official, I could maybe make some arrangements so that I could come to the STH party (I sometime have to work evenings). Why not release news as they know it instead of waiting to the last minute? A letter would be nice but emails don't cost a thing - just a heads up email to keep STH informed.
