Ah, yeah. So, the question "Why don't we pay the Russians in Rubles and the Canadians in Canadian dollars?" question deserves a logical response, I see? I guess I disagree.
It's not the same thing as showing respect to the Canadian development of hockey. That was a Canadian game, and still would be if we hadn't found a way to freeze ice indoors.
I don't think letting a midi file anthem follow someone actually singing ours should be an affront to the delicate, xenophobic sensibilities of the deep south.
And while this has nothing to do with hockey, I think it's absolutely adorable how the Fox News agenda has convinced all of you that our various religions would be the first target if our big, bad, mostly early 20's military forces weren't guarding our borders 24/7.
I also *chuckle* want to point out that you cite freedom of speech as a freedom we should fear losing to the scary outside forces of evil...in the same post where you tell me to keep my thoughts to myself.
