Yeah, SC Stingrays had a big, grey...stingray with muscles. Ha. If I remember correctly.

I also think we have so many options as far as things that relate to the coast of Mississippi and nowhere else that we don't so much need to choose something that relates much more heavily to neighboring states or regions. Like Mudbugs.
Or Jazz, Blues, anything Mardi Gras or cheap beer related. (oops, I let that slip.)

I don't think any of this is great, but like Mississippi Mullet (Biloxi Bacon). That's something that, even around the country, is really a South Mississippi thing.

I'm not so sure I'd want to cheer on a giant, dirty fish, though.

A friend of mine submitted the Mississippi Sound. That's pretty neat. It's surely impossible to market, but it's clever.

Who knows?
