Wow.
If you know Margie so well to vouch for her ability over Tina's, then you probably know that her daughter is physically limited by Muscular Dystrophy and that she's had to miss SEVERAL to most of the games this season as well as most of the Booster Club meetings, right?

Would you think that maybe splitting the season between one board member who's moving and one who can't be as involved as necessary would be the best way to balance the position?
(Letting Tina do it while it was taxing and then let Margie handle the easier last half of the season?)

Not to mention that your argument is that the younger crowd is used up and tossed away while Tina, if I'm not mistaken, is quite a bit younger and "newbie-ish" than Mrs. Margie.

For the record, when Tina moved, there was another "newbie" who was suggested to take her place, but the board/president chose to appoint Mrs. Margie since she'd been "next up". (Even though she didn't want to do it.) And Mrs. Margie hasn't been to but one or two General Membership Meetings since then. Which means that the job she was supposed to get because she's been a fan for 10 years was being completed by another board member.

And in what universe is Rusty Russum buddied up to Tina Womack to the point that they could be considered a 'clique'?

Get your story straight. Whatever scorn you've been subject to had nothing to do with Rusty, Mrs. Margie, or Tina. My guess if you're super BFF with someone who got beat for some board position. Maybe losing President?
Maybe your smear campaign wasn't as effective as you hoped?
Just speculation, of course. I can't know who you are. But if you happened to be some of the people with the biggest complaining mouths, I might know what your problem is.
And for the record, being a "mouth" for the team doesn't qualify you to run their Booster organization.
