I thought it wasn't a done deal yet? From the TV spot on your local TV channel they said they would reapply for membership in June? Perhaps they are jerking around the local economy for some breaks and incentives? I was a huge IceGator fan and made the 2 hour trip from NOLA to Lafayette at least three times a month to catch a game. I also went to Biloxi for the Gator road games. After they folded I was sick to my stomach and turned off on minor league hockey.

I went to what appears to be your last game of the season and perhaps forever. My family and I had a great time and I called to inquire about season tickets. The guy on the other end didn't seemed very happy and he took my name down (at least that is what he said) and said he would call me back. I didn't get any call back.

They have done a poor job of marketing the team. What gave me the idea to go to the last game was I saw an ad on Cresant City Ford trucks and they had a Seawolves logo at the end of the commercial. I was like hey the Seawolves are still there! I made the next game.

Some on here are talking about the ECHL purposely ran your team into the ground. I wouldn't doubt it. They royal screwed the IceGators. Putting teams in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Then the WPHL put teams in Lake Charles and Alexandria putting five teams all within five hours of Lafayette. Suddenly the IceGators were not a unique experience.

With Biloxi being an entertainment city with the Casinos I thought the Seawolves would be a natural. What other teams do you guys have to go and watch? I know USM is close but they still are not in Biloxi. Were not the SeaWolves the only team in town?

Anyways I hope you guys can pull it out. I remember the second to last year of the Gators they got all types of breaks on the Cajundome and some city incentives but in the end it wasn't enough. Good luck and if they come back I will be there. I had a very good time in Biloxi.
