I remember there was a brand of shoes that came out like this some time in the early to mid 2000s when I was at the end of my competitive career. I can't remember the brand though, i do remember they looked like this with the fabric arches.

I remember they were not popular and didn't stick around long. They didn't really offer enough arch support for toe work.

Maybe these are different? But they look the same.

I wouldn't put my dancer in them personally. Especially not while they're young and we are trying to avoid injury.
