Subject: Technique faults were plain to see-child maybe going through a growth spurt?

Carriage was really poor, leg extensions were really low in lights-possibly on purpose to avoid the look of unsteady upper body.I have seen this child dance far better before so there is no bitterness.
She was not the best dancer on the day. However 1st and 2nd have similar style of dance so that is obviously somethinga majority of the judges liked, despite technique faults in both(I saw upper body unsteady, missed entrechats, straight feet in places etc)
3rd place dancer was stunning to my eyes but again ,dancers with similar style in a few age groups didn't place as high as others.Perfect technique, timing, costuming etc.
No one is slating children, factually commenting on technique is a different thing.
