Big name dressmakers? All based in Ireland and the UK. Good luck getting on a podium unless you're in one of their designs.

Wig makers? Camelia Rose and Paula's Wigs and Bling are both in Glasgow (and all wigs named after non-Americans as far as I know).

Judges -- aka those who awarded looks, moves, and dance styles, driving those trends?

At last year's worlds, there were eight based in the US, 13 from England/Ireland, three Canadians, five Australians, and one from Taiwan. This year's judges are three Americans, six Irish, a Scot, six English, an Australian, and three Canadians.

Americans didn't invent these trends. We're following them so we can get somewhat of a fair shot at majors.
