Not sure how you put the first bun ring in but if she has long hair, roll the donut down the hair. So put a bobble in (this sometimes isnt even needed and you can just pull the hair through the middle) pull the donut to the bottom of the pony tail, then spread the hair all around and roll it up. You then only need a few pins to keep it secure. Helps spread the weight all over. Most people I see just put the bun ring in place pinning it then wrapping hair round. If you roll it you barely need any pins to keep it in place and there is less pulling in the root
