Once you land, pass through immigration or customs then baggage claim, so plan maybe 30 to 60 minutes after arrival just for airport processing.

When you book your ride or shuttle:

Know your terminal and ride pickup location. ORD has multiple terminals.

For rideshare at ORD, follow signs to the designated ride hail pickup zones. They differ by terminal.

If weather is poor (snow, wind) or your flight is delayed, that might push your travel time further — keep flexible.
