If you were at the forum you would have heard my plan. We have many streets which are about to be tore up due to water line replacement. On those streets we could move the curb back while repairing the streets three ft on each side to help alleviate our narrow streets due to cars parked on the street. Option 2: If you drive down Bailey Street and look at the cut outs the apartments have that would be an option for the homeowners to choose and pay for themselves. Otherwise, what your city leaders are going to do someday is allow parking on one side of the street or paint bike trails down both sides of the street and there will be no parking on the street. We can do something where the citizens can keep their property rights or we can do the last option and have a lot of unhappy citizens. The choice is yours!
