- - Like a Bunny - -

Kin had easily gotten used to being human, and why not? He always had been. "Born and raised that there way" as his mother would say. At least he believed that much, he could picture that much coming from her, though memories of his childhood forever were fading. But being human had it's faults, Kin knew full well.

Like curiosity, for example.

Needless curiosity was a fault that Kin often struggled with. Now, for instance, the boy found himself stuck in a tree, birds cawing madly at him, swooping down to attack with sharpen beaks and flawless talons. Though Kin might have found it a splendid idea to climb up to a birds nest and see the small, newly hatched birds, others might not have found this idea fond at all.

Kin wasn't quite fond of it either, he found. He didn't care to be pecked at. "Please stop." he said out loud as a larger bird collided with his brunette head. He fell backwards, catching himself with a splendid display of gymnastics. He now hung from a branch by his hands, his brown orbs stared at the far drop below. He was to far to jump into a river that he had heard, rushing somewhere behind him, and the present drop. The 14 year old gulped as one of his brown cowboy boots slide off dropping to the ground with a sickening "thud".

That could definitely be me. he thought before shouting a fairly loud "HELP!" to any willing receiver. He startled a few of his attackers which fluttered off in all sorts of directions.
