He hadn't seen a human in a very long time. So long that he couldn't recall the names of those who he'd been involved with. not that he cared to, Las Vegas was learning to turn his back on those parts of his life, it didn't matter now and recollections only pained him in his current existence. Still, he pinned his ears when a voice followed the bird's flight from the tree. Black tail lashing at his snowy hocks Vegas lingered a moment where he was. 'What the hell' was really the only way to describe the look on his dark face. Curiousity had been a problem in Vegas' youth as well. Another disturbance from the tree and a boy dropped from the branch, well, not entirely, he hung their from his limbs like a possum does her tail and Vegas snorted in disgust. Really? Was he seeing this? He took a few steps closer to the scene, certain the human hadn't seen him yet. The Arab mutt weaved up behind him, snorting again as a boot dropped from the kid's foot. The birds continued their ruckus and the stallion took a bit of amusement from the strands of obscenities that the winged creatures we screaming. as they clawed and pecked the boy's hands. A shout again escaped the human, and Vegas pinned and unpinned his ears detecting the desperation in the cry. He knew he was going to regret this. The large stallion move up beneath the boy, eying him begrudgingly and letting him figure out his only choice was to drop down onto the broad back he'd been presented. Bored already with this rag-tag rescue, Vegas picked up the lost boot in his teeth and gave it a good shake. we can drive it home with one headlight
