Bill and Steve,

I would like to comment...and I've been trying to make some sense of this paddling that Joel took, and he's commented some about it to me, but of course Sean, Luke and Cody are more closer to Joel then I am, but I would like to be, especially to help a buddy in the time of need and be there for them like I would like to have someone for me.

What I've read in the threads & Joel said, it was suggestd that he go have a talk with Kyle's dad. Joel was told there might be the chance that Kyle's dad might want to spank him, maybe?

If that was to happen, Joel and Kyle talked about Kyle's dad is into using a belt on Kyle's bare butt to spank him with now, and doesn't use a paddle anymore, and Kyle gave that paddle to Joel?

Joel was thinking ahead to take that paddle with him, should Kyle's dad insist on giving Joel a spanking to make things right now, if Joel agreed to it, for the window Joel and Kyle broken when they were little kids, some l0yrs. ago? Kyle's dad spanked him with a paddle, and Joel didn't get any spanking of any kind from Kyle's dad or Joel's dad.

What I can't understand is why Joel is being criticized for negotiating with Kyle's dad and told him that if he was going to spank him that he should use a paddle, the same paddle used on Kyle l0yrs. ago on his barer butt, to spank his bare butt too.

Kyle's dad did not bring up that Joel's spanking should be given with his belt; but Joel is being criticized because he said "the belt would hurt more" (not saying this to Kyle's dad's face), so he convinced Kyle's dad that it was only fair that a paddle be used for the spanking.

What's so wrong about that?

In my eyes if Joel could win over Kyle's dad so spank him with a paddle, which he thinks hurts less, I would do the same thing myself if I was going to get a spanking and hada choice between a belt or paddle going to hit my bare butt I would chose the paddle as I think it hurts less then a belt.

Would you two agree, a paddle hurts less?

If yes, then why say it shouldn't make a difference with Joel to get the belt used on him as he already knows what a belt feels like or a razor strap on his bare butt?

Have I missed something? Has an adult used their belt on Joel's bare butt before and he remembers how really bad that that hurts? Is that why Joel wanted the paddle used instead to have less hurt?

It was mentioned that Joel has a "fear of the belt" and it struck being "odd" that he does.

If I had a choice, I'd chose a paddle and not a belt used on my butt, it I was going to get a spanking and given a choice to select from.

A razor strap was mentioned that Joel knows how that feels and has had his grandpa's razor strap whipped on his bare butt before, and Joel knows its more HURTFUL and makes MORE PAIN and leaves MORE REDNESS on his bare butt. Why should a comparison be made and mentioned about this strap and Kyle's dad's belt? Did I miss something? There wasn't a razor strap offered for a choice to Joel for the spanking to be given by Kyle's dad was there? And Kyle's dad never brought up about using his belt on Joel?

So why was it brought up about Joel having a fear, and people giving the impression they wished Joel had been spanked with a belt instead of a paddle; or even hint at a razor strap?

Also, why is there suggestion that Kyle be given a spanking or rather a whipping using a razor strap to straighten him out, which sounds like the razor strap of Joel's grandpa that he used on Joel and Joel has it?

Then your suggesting, Kyle should get a more severe spanking or rather whipping then what Joel got, to teach Kyle a lesson for grinning before, during and after Joel got the paddling; and further for next days remarks and gestures he's made, correct?

Would that be fair to Kyle?

I don't condole what Kyle did was right, it was wrong of him, but how should he really learn a lesson?

Kyle has continued all week at baseball practices and at the regional play-off games, to making hurtful remarks and gestures to Joel, and some of us buddies have tried to step in to STOP Kyle, but he continues on with them.

We have to give Joel credit all week long, he put up with Kyle without wanting to fight him back, and he sure stayed focused playing as an A NUMBER ONE baseball player for his team, who really made us proud and the coaches?

So, can anyone help me to understand the criticizing of Joel from different people and why?

If I can understand why, maybe I can help contribute to helping Joel and bringing an END to this whole mixed up mess, which Joel is believing ITS ALL HIS FAULT because he didn't get spanked for breaking the widow and what punishment he got then for helping to pay money for the broken window with Kyle was thought to be agreed Joel's only punishment...but matters continued after it with remarks and gestures by Kyle and his dad, and seems to have gotten more worse lately!
