Hey Joel, thought my intro was lengthy but man dude, your's is a masterpiece of length. I'm going hit highlights & hope you understand.

Grade school spankings for most part were teachers smacking your bottom with the ruler rather than sending you to the principal. Got a few for the talking & messing around in class stuff but nothing bigtime. I middle school, remember two paddlings from principal. In 7th a minor fight with a guy got us both paddled like 4-5 swats; 8th grade some buddies & I caught smoking in boys room and each got 5 to the butt. I got a note and my butt whipped at home for both. The HS paddle had holes & the big time was a 10th or 11th grade paddling in the office for a hallway scuffle with this dude who was new & bullying. The fact he was bullying didn't save my butt since both deemed guilty but got the satisfaction to see he wasn't so tough when his ass was getting the paddle.

Did closing your eyes help the anticipation of that first swat last Spring? Bet the eyes bugged open after a few stings felt on your butt. Was there some grunts...awww's...or anything coming out of your mouth before that first paddling ended? Too bad your best buddy Kyle wasn't there to share that "first" with you. I did trade swats for detentions too like for failing to turn in assignment, disturbing noises, tardy, etc...you know typical nuisance things we probably all do in school.

Rick is a cool big brother & yes we are a tight-knit family & I'm glad of that. Big bro is busting butt now finishing his certification studies & know he'll come through in high style getting his professional license. Dad has no intent on retiring any time soon but when that day comes, it will be great for Rick & I to continue the family business & maybe even pass on to a third generation some day.
