Hey buddy how you doing? I'm doing great! What do you think of that score? Man, it feels good to win again and kick some butt!
This is the first game I DID NOT have to receive any swats to my bare butt! Can you believe it?
I guess the "little talk" that Kyle and I had, and gave to each other a paddling helped to keep my mind focused and not think of homecoming court and other activities.
I still had some soreness, Kyle to, when we suited up to play, but that soreness kept my mind registered to play good football.
I hooked up with Sean and made TWO TDs. Man, they felt good to get, and I racked up some big yardages to help get to the TD's, they tell me I got 249yds. out of the 426yds. we had as team.
How about Luke scoring a TD for homecoming, he wanted to really bad!
Sean did a great job, 3-TD's and John finally got a great TD for our scoring.
Defense did great I thought, even though Kyl missed a tackle. Hey, I drew and got to swat his bare butt, and I'm sure with the left soreness from the paddling I gave him night before game that he really felt my swat!
Steve, thanks buddy, for helping me to get my mind together and to get Kyle and me hooked-up to have our "talk" the paddling session. I think I needed it, and it helped my mind after a trying week.
It was funny in the locker room after the game, we all were celebrating in the showers and a someone hollers that Sean and I are wanted to be seen my a woman newspaper reporter, and to get our butts out of the showe as soon as we can. Ole Luke screams, "If she can't wait for Sean and Joel, she can come in the locker room if she wants to!" Man, everyone laughed, and I and Sean sure were embarrassed and I bet red faces!
The reporter lady wanted our thoughts about the game. Sure cause Sean made the three TD's and I guess because I got the two TD's and all the yardage it took for me to get'em.
What was funny to, she asked me, "what did you do to get yourself pre-game ready for the big homecoming game?"
Kyle happened to be nearby, and he gave me the biggest grin. Of course I was about to say that to get me ready I had my best buddy to paddle me to get me game focused and I paddled him to get him ready, remember Kyle and the defensive line jumped off sides bigtim last week on a 4th down the other team had and next play they score TD.
So I just told her that I tried not to have homecoming activities distract me, and I worked my butt off, like everyone else did in practice all week long.
Should I have told about Coach getting after me and Sean into our faces for the butt-chewing we each got? Not! I wouldn't do that Coach.
Steve, I did not drop one pass all night long!
Now I know what your going to say to get me ready for next game, if I can't stay focused in practices, etc. for in the game mind, that Kyle should get the frat paddle out again.
Geeze Steve, that thing really stings your bare butt! And Kyle will testifyto that to with the two, sore, red butts we got, even with just 5 licks.
So Steve, it was great being on the homecoming court last night at halftime. I did not think about it during the game,but when it came time I was so proud to be on the court at halftime. My folks were so proud, I could see some misty eyes in both mom and dad as they walked me across the football field. I'm so glad I didn't let the "click group" screw me out of thie honor.
Hey they got fooled, SEAN our quarteback got to become KING and he doesn't belong to their group.
Kyle's girlfriend missed being crowned QUEEN, but Kyle and Julie get to be partners at the homecoming dance tonight, which will be cool.
I got a special girl on the homecoming court hooking up with me tonight, it will be fun. She sure is pretty. Luck dog, me!
