Hey David buddy how you doing? I'm doing better, got through football practice and didn't screwup too much so my butt is still safe from Kyle pounding it for the moment.
Kyle coming over, anytime now before we go to school, so I thought I would drop you a few lines.
I'm trying to sort somethings out. I got Sean off my back at practice, and I thought I needed to have a talk with my Coach before Friday's game, and we got somethings settled for me, and Coach had a few things he wanted to talk with me about. No ass chewing, or in the face stuff, so we'll see how things go for me and perhaps another "good" practice before we try to win a FIRST PLACE finish in the league.
I'm still putting your name on a touchdown if I make any, I should as I have been averaging about two TD's lately per game, which I think would be great to do for a buddy with all that has happened.
Now some answers to your questions...
I'm understanding NOW where you are coming from that you do not blame ME or FAULT me to say that I DID NOT Pressure you into saying things that were not true/made up about you giving the impression that you got spankings before the FIRST REAL ONES you got at school and your dad at home.
I guess what really happened is, you paniced saying you would leave the forum if asked to, and I was just getting to know you after knowing Rick for awhile and him saying "David this...and David that" and that he better get you to join the forum when you had time to get involved, etc. I thought you was ready to "write the forum off, me and your other new buddies" and we would hear from you again, to come to know you and what you might like to share. Plus, you said it about me and Steve and you having more incommon then other guys "getting the late spankings/paddlings in our lives." I wanted to find out more about you, like I have tried to do with Steve, and I think all of us are still learning yet about each other.
Yeah, I see a different Joel from last spring. I like somethings about him and what he has done, and there are somethings he has done that I would just as soon forget about it he should not have done, but things will work out!
Again, I'm proud of you too, in the short time we've come to know one another, and if we work at it I know we can become two better people as friends, buddies and I still like the big/little brother "thing", like I share with Kyle and other close guys I'm friends with, especially the dudes on the football team!
You are right, it took me to l7 to get that first paddling, but it was for two reasons, one more then the other was because dentention would have interfered in me not attending baseball practice on times, and for real an EXCUSE to feel a paddle on my butt for the first time seeing how it wasn't happening other ways.
David, the question about why my parents never spanked me growing up I have tried to get an answer from them, but then I get the same response of them not having time to answer or I don't need to know or why bring that up, etc.
It's like they want it to be a "mystery" and when I really try to "push them more" for an answer they really go silent on me. I asked my grandpa (my dad's dad) if he might know why they never did, and he was surprised after all of these years thinking I did get spankings growing up that i did. I asked him that question when he first showed me that razor strap be used on my dad growing up that's in his barn, that Kyle, Luke and I have used on each other to see what one "feels like" after Steve told us about his first and only razor strap spanking. The subject would be dropped again after questioning.
Yeah dude, I'm close to my parents, I know they love me and they have told me, show affection to me and I to them, so why can't I get an answer? It's like a brick wall that the issue deadends to!
Rick had a good answer, and I'm wondering if he's right and I believe he's right. You can go back to past messages we sent back and forth and he brought up this Dr. Spock who was suppose to be an expert about how to raise children, and those who grew up on the l960s and l970s who later on had kids did his advice of NO SPANKING CHILDREN AS IT'S WRONG! So like Rick told me, I think my folks are following this guy's advice, but my parents won't give me a direct answer if that is what they are doing to me!
David, I WILL ACCEPT THAT CHALLENGE from you to me, IF I screw up and will try to convince my dad to give me butt swats and use Kyle as an example. My dad knows Kyle has gotten spankings/paddlings/belt whippings all his life growing up, and sometimes KYle and I had gotten into trouble together and knew his dad was going to spank him, but Kyle's dad has made the comment when I was younger to my dad that he should or should have tanned my butt too, but I always got a different punishment, sent and grounded to my room, priviledge taken away, etc. The biggest punishment I got at the older age I am now for time period is hving my car taken away for a week and no driving of any car, my folks or other people's. That might sound stupid but that drove me nuts!. I couldn't get any other punishment to sub for it to have my dad give in!
So you take the challenge too, huh "big brother?" That would be cool, and interesting to see what happens. You don't really think your dad is going to tan your bare butt for you for the cig incident he should have at age ll do you? If you talk to him won't he comedown on Rick for this and make an awful mess for you both? Or, would be start questioning you both, "what else did you both do that I don't know about when you was growing up that you both should have been punished for?" Would that happen with your dad, and screw up things with your dad, mom, Rick and You for wanting to have a family insurance business together? That might be a real risk? Better think it over or how about talking it over with Rick for his opinion? I'm not saying David that you don't have good judgement, but things are going good for you, Rick and folks and you don't need to "start" something from past or should you?
David, when your dad was getting ready to give you your first spanking on your 9 yr. old little butt, did he comment that "I should have done this along time ago..." to that effect or was the scary first time not registering alot of words from dad in your mind, etc. for you to recall?
Okay dude, still will take the CHALLENGE, IF the situation comes, but I'm NOT looking for trouble or creating trouble and if something happens that Kyle can contribute to make it happen for a first dad/son spanking then we'll let things take their course, okay?
Let's talk about the "other paddling" that Steve thinks you deserve, and your taking votes on from the other guys in the forum it seems.
If it was to happen, and Rick has agreed to make it happen, we both know that it has to be on your bare butt, but how many licks with the paddle do you think would be fair if guys vote for it to happen and how will Rick give the paddling to you, over his lap, over a knee or have you stand and bend over a desk or chair with your hands on it and sticking your butt out to get the swats?
I guess what are you offering for suggestions for the guys to base a decision on to vote, as it looks like its come to a vote.
Do I have to vote, David? I think I'm going to feel "funny" if I do, and I know I'm going to make someone angry or disappointed, maybe?
If it happens, and I'm not saying it's going to, when would this paddling have to take place? I guess what I'm asking, if a vote was taken would "sentence" like you call it have to be carried out right away? What if it was during the week, wouldn't it be better to have it happen on a weekend day, so you'd not have a problem to return to work? I"m not scarying you, to back out of the "offer" your making, right?
You know I had a thought to, and STeve shared this with me when he went to college and had a room mate Tom, they set up rules to keep their apartment clean, etc. and if one guy didn't that guy earned swats with a paddle they had. Would this be something you and Rick might think about? Reason I ask is, IF Rick was to give you a paddling this would be one way you would be able to return the "favor" to him to give him a paddling if he screwup not keeping apartment clean.
Look back in the Archives of this forum and listing for Steve's First Paddling, which took place in College, I don't have the title now, but it would be easy to find for suggestions on what Steve and Tom did for trading swats for not keeping a clean aprt. and other broken rules. Just a thought, big brother, just a thought.
So I'll wait for your message, and we'll see what the guys in the forum think I guess. Maybe they would "vote" like you want them to, if they knew what the ground rules would be IF a paddle was to be done.
For the moment, you know what my vote was or feelings if Ihad to give a vote or would you want to "change" my mind and plead a case to think different? It's your butt, David. One thing I will say, you have courage, and say you will abide by what will happen either way. I guess I'm glad it's not happening to me or maybe I'll understand when I get older?
Does that sound stupid?
